Mike and I spent years building this business from one frustrating problem: a fitted sheet that would not stay on the mattress.

What started as a simple idea turned into prototypes, utility patents, factory work, national TV features, customer reviews, and more than 500,000 units sold.

For a long time, it felt like the American dream.

Over the past two years, Mike and I have been living through the chapter that almost took it away.

We are not ready to share every detail yet, and we want to be careful about how we tell the story. But soon, we are preparing to share more about what happened, what it cost, and why we believe this story may matter to far more people than just our company.

Because at this point, this is not just about our product.

It is about what happens when a small business spends years building something real, and then suddenly has to fight just to stay alive.

How We Got Here

Years of building something real.

2015 — The Beginning
One frustrating problem.
A fitted sheet that would not stay on the mattress becomes the spark behind Bed Scrunchie.
2016 — Going Real
Patents filed. Product born.
After months of prototypes and refinements, a utility patent application is filed. The product is becoming real.
2018 — First Sales, Grant Awarded
Patent granted. Sales begin.
The patent is granted. Years of trial, error, and persistence assisted factory development and manufacturing begins in earnest.
GMA — National Recognition
Good Morning America.
Bed Scrunchie earns national TV features, thousands of genuine customer reviews, and a loyal base of families who rely on the product every night.
500K — Half a Million Sold
A real small business.
More than 500,000 units sold. A real small business, built around solving one everyday problem for real people.
2024 — Everything Changes
The chapter we never expected.
